The Marie-Antoinette “Grande Complication” pocket watch N°1160 is one of the most complicated watches in the world, named after the pocket watch commissioned in 1783 by a mysterious admirer for the Queen of France. It reveals to the public a host of complications, along with a storied provenance spanning nearly a century. Self-winding watch with a minute-repeater striking the hours, quarters and minutes on demand,  it features also – among other numerous complications – a perpetual calendar, equation of time, a power reserve indicator and a bimetallic thermometer.
