The Real Madrid manager is an avid watch enthusiast and first discovered the brand’s unique tourbillons a few years ago, comparing their intricate workings to his experience in the world of football, where “you have to focus on the little details”.

 

Mr Ancelotti’s relationship with the brand has since blossomed to the extent that his appointment as a global ambassador for the brand seemed logical and was confirmed in Madrid last week with an official announcement. Under the new partnership, Mr Ancelotti will be actively involved in product development and design ten special limited edition pieces bearing his name each year. He will, of course, also be the guest of honour at some of the brand’s major events.
