Jean-Marc Mansvelt graduated from the HEC in 1987 and joined the L’Oréal group the following year. He subsequently occupied a number of marketing positions in the luxury products sector, notably with Lancôme in France and then internationally, and Biotherm, where he was division head. He joined LVMH in 2004 as marketing director for Louis Vuitton leather goods.
In 2006 Jean-Marc Mansvelt took over as head of leather goods and of the newly-created accessories department. He was also instrumental in the brand’s expansion into perfumes and writing instruments. After working on a special project for Loro Piana from June to December 2014, Jean-Marc Mansvelt took over as CEO of Chaumet on 1 January 2015.
