Results published last week by both the Swiss Watchmaking Federation and two of the big watchmaking groups (Swatch Group and LVMH) confirmed an increasing disparity. While exports grew by a meagre 1.9% overall, the two big groups published growth rates that were more than double this figure, suggesting that other brands must be feeling the pinch.
