For the World Watch Retailer Awards, it is the people in direct contact with customers every day who are the jury. From today until 30th April 2015, staff at any multi-brand retailer can choose their favourite watches and brands in a selection of categories and take part in a draw to win some spectacular prizes. Find out more on http://www.world-watch-retailer-awards.com and follow our new dedicated Facebook page for regular updates on the awards.

“Portugal is the unlikely inspiration for two major new collections launched this week.”

Paul O'Neil

After answering some obvious yet overlooked questions last week, such as What are Côtes de Genève? And Can a minute-repeater ever go out of tune?, we turn our attention this week to the big news from the brands exhibiting at the Palexpo in Geneva and the city’s numerous five-star hotels.

You will discover new skeletons, a return of the annual calendar, hands-free watches and new collections and models inspired by explorers on WorldTempus this week. And that is just what we already know! There will undoubtedly be plenty more to see when the SIHH opens today. Rest assured we will be updating the site regularly over the week as the full 2015 collections from the world’s top watchmaking brands are revealed.

If you want to see the watches as soon as we do, follow @WorldTempus on Instagram and the major social networks for live updates from the show.
