The Dams Team was founded in 1988 by Jean-Paul Driot to mentor and train young drivers for Formula 1. So far 27 of them have been propelled into this elite category of motorsports, including Romain Grosjean, Richard Mille partner and official driver for the Lotus F1 Team.

Alain Prost, four times F1 World Champion, and Jean-Paul Driot joined forces to create the E.Dams-Renault Team in Formula E, with a single-seater capable of achieving 0 to 100 km/h in under 3 seconds, thanks to its 200 kW (270 hp) electric motor and a weight of just 888 kg.

The F1 driver Sébastien Buemi and his team-mate Nicolas Prost will drive the E.Dams-Renault at the wheel of the Spark-Renault SRT_01E – the only car accredited by the FIA for this competition – on the ten urban circuits, all specifically designed for these championships.

Formula E is founded on three core values: energy, environment and performance. This championship provides car manufacturers and constructors the opportunity to showcase their innovations in the field of electrical energy.

Richard Mille watches are characterized by the same desire to apply innovation in the pursuit of extreme performance to a field that is already assured of its credentials. Deliberately shaking up conventions to impose its own, contemporary, vision of watchmaking, Richard Mille has revolutionized and redefined watchmaking techniques through its development of new materials and their incorporation into Haute Horlogerie.

This partnership perfectly illustrates the spirit shared by the brand from the Jura region and the French racing team: both believe in a revolutionary vision, and can provide the means to make it happen.
