A truly high-performance machine, born for victory, maxi-trimaran Spindrift 2 has left her home port at Trinité-sur-Mer in order to attempt the most important ocean speed records by team this summer: firstly crossing the North Atlantic and the 24-hour record, and then round the world from next year.

Led by 14 crew members including businesswoman and accomplished athlete, Dona Bertarelli, and experienced sailor Yann Guichard, Spindrift 2 has but one adversary: the weather! The record she needs to beat: 3 days, 15 hours, 25 minutes and 48 seconds between the Ambrose lighthouse (New York) and Lizard Point (GB).
