Tribute to a model of the 1970s, the contours of the Feather Watch are cut around a 39mm case, available in 18K red gold or in stainless steel, according to the models. The bezel is set with 54 round diamonds. The Feather Watch models reveal a graceful dimension with three new dials made, two from peacock and one blue jay from feathers.
Displaying infinite patience, meticulous care and dexterity, the feather artist sorts the feathers, chosen for their stability, their density and their finesse: He then cleans them, steam-stabilizes and re-cuts them by hand. The feathers are individually positioned in order to reproduce the desired motif before being glued flat.
Beating at the heart of these timepieces is an automatic Corum CO 110 movement. It oscillates at the frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, drives the hour and minute hands and has a 42-hour power reserve. The gilded oscillating weight engraved with the Corum emblem is visible through the transparent back of the case, water resistant to 50 meters.
The case features a fluted crown engraved with the key symbol, discreetly echoing the Corum universe.
Feather Watch "Blue Jay"
The stainless steel case of the watch opens on a dial made of brass and decorated with blue jay feathers. The marquetry work offers both a graphic and captivating rendering. The natural symmetry of the feather is superimposed on the full linearity layout, tinged of a movement that seems to escape the dial. Rhodium-coated Dauphine hands display the hours and minutes.
The watch is completed with either a white satin strap or blue alligator strap, each equipped with a stainless steel buckle engraved with the Corum logo.
